Jurassic World is set to open in cinemas on June 12, 2015, nearly 14 years after the last instalment in the series, 2001's Jurassic Park III. The first full-length trailer for the dinosaur sequel was released in November and a shorter teaser was shown during the Super Bowl on Sunday (February 1).
Parks And Recreation/ Guardians Of The Galaxy star Pratt heads up the film's cast, flanked by actors including Bryce Dallas Howard, Omar Sy, Ty Simpkins and Judy Greer.
Colin Trevorrow directs from a script he has co-written, and Steven Spielberg – who directed the first two films in the franchise – is on board as an executive producer. Last year (2014) Trevorrow teased the possibility of sequels to Jurassic World, saying: "We wanted to create something that would be a little bit less arbitrary and episodic, and something that could potentially arc into a series that would feel like a complete story."
