Jessica Lange has revealed that she is open to the idea of returning to American Horror Story for a "small" role.
Each season of American Horror Story introduces a new setting and characters, but Lange has played a key role in all four seasons to date, winning two Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe for her performances as a sinister neighbour, sharp-tongued nun, hedonistic witch and deluded freak show leader. However, earlier this year she announced she would not be joining Lady Gaga in the forthcoming fifth season, American Horror Story: Hotel.
Now the actress, also a two-time Oscar-winner, has reassured fans that she hasn't closed the door on American Horror Story for good. "If Ryan [Murphy, co-creator] came to me and said, 'Would you want to do a small character for a couple episodes?' I would absolutely say yes if I liked it," Lange told TheWrap. "This was a great collaboration, so I would love to keep working with him."
Lady Gaga became the first cast member announced for American Horror Story: Hotel in February, and since then she has been joined by Kathy Bates, Chloë Sevigny, Matt Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson, Wes Bentley, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Finn Wittrock and Max Greenfield. Plot details are being kept closely under wraps but co-creator Ryan Murphy has recently hinted that Gaga's character could be involved in a live triangle.
The new season is set to begin on US cable network FX this October (2014). It will be Gaga's first TV acting job following small supporting roles in the films Machete Kills and Sin City: A Dame To Kill For. She also appeared as herself in last year's Muppets Most Wanted.

Julia Stiles returning to 'The Bourne Identity' franchise
Julia Stiles has signed on to appear in the fourth installment of The Bourne Identity franchise, reprising her role as covert agent Nicky Parsons.
The film move will see Stiles star alongside Matt Damon once again. Stiles appeared in the first three films but, like Damon and director Paul Greengrass, played no part in 2012 spin-off The Bourne Legacy.
Ex Machina actress Alicia Vikander was recently linked to the female lead in the fifth Bourne film. It remains to be seen whether Stiles' return means this is no longer the case.
The film, currently untitled, will mark the return of Matt Damon's Jason Bourne after nearly a decade away from the screen.
Director Greengrass, who was behind the camera for the second and third Bourne films, is also returning for the fifth instalment. For the first time, Greengrass and Damon will be writing the screenplay themselves, alongside Christopher Rouse, who served as editor on the second and third Bourne films.
NME Interviews 'Ex Machina''s Break-out Star Alicia Vikander
The fifth Bourne film is set for release on July 29, 2016. The producer of the Bourne franchise, Frank Marshall, insisted earlier this year (2015) that there are no plans for Matt Damon and Jeremy Renner to appear together in the same film.
Bryan Cranston revives 'Breaking Bad''s Walter White for cameo at EDM festival - watch
Bryan Cranston briefly revived his Breaking Bad character Walter White for a surprise cameo at a Las Vegas EDM festival on Saturday night (June 20).
Cranston, sporting more hair than his Breaking Bad character, appeared on stage during a set by Above & Beyond, the British progressive trance trio who released a track called 'Walter White' in 2012. "Say my name!" Cranston roared at the crowd partying at Las Vegas's Electric Daisy Carnival in classic Heisenberg-style. He then yelled, "You're goddamn right! Walter White, Above & Beyond!" before pushing the button to start the track named after his Breaking Bad character. Watch footage of Cranston's cameo from Above & Beyond's YouTube channel below.
The following morning, Cranston tweeted that he was leaving Las Vegas after pulling "an all nighter".

Meanwhile, Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan has recently suggested that Cranston's Walter White will almost certainly make an appearance in spin-off series Better Call Saul. "It would be great to see Walter White on Better Call Saul," Gilligan said earlier this month. "It would be a shame if the show had its run - hopefully a very long run - and he never appeared."
'The Crystal Maze' hits £500,000 crowdfunding target for 'live immersive experience'
The Crystal Maze is set to return as a "live immersive experience" now that a crowdfunding campaign has hit its £500,000 target.
The Channel 4 game show originally ran for 83 episodes between 1990 and 1995, with the first four series hosted by Richard O'Brien, creator of The Rocky Horror Show, and the final two steered by Tenpole Tudor frontman Edward Tudor-Pole. Earlier this month (June) a website and social media accounts were launched teasing that the show would be returning as a "live immersive experience" in London.
A crowdfunding campaign was then launched on Indiegogo, revealing further details about what the "live immersive experience" will involve. The project's organisers explained that they are seeking £500,000 to recreate the classic game show at a secret location in central London, with Richard O'Brien returning to "welcome guests in time honoured fashion".
Now, eight days after launching, the crowdfunding campaign has met its £500,000 target. At the time of writing (June 22), some 3,897 donors have given just under £510,000 to help make the project a reality.

On Indiegogo, the project's organisers explain that they are hoping to open the "live immersive experience" in late 2015 and say that tickets to take part will cost £50 per person for an experience that will last approximately 1 hour 45 minutes. "You'll get to play the maze just as contestants did on the original show - placing you at the centre of the action. What we really want is for people to live the magic of the hit television programme for themselves," the project's organisers write. "We will be lovingly recreating the famous set just as it was on the original show. All four famous zones will be present: Aztec, Medieval, Industrial and Futuristic, not forgetting of course, The Crystal Dome!"
'Pitch Perfect 3' is in the works with Rebel Wilson to return
A third Pitch Perfect film is said to be moving forward at Universal Pictures.
The original Pitch Perfect film became a surprise hit in 2012, grossing over $115 million (£74 million) at cinemas worldwide and building an even bigger fan base on DVD and VOD. A song from the film, 'Cups' performed by Anna Kendrick, became a Top 10 single in the US.
Since its release in May, Pitch Perfect 2 has been even more successful, raking in over $250 million (£161 million) at cinemas globally. Its soundtrack entered the US albums chart at Number One.
Universal is now "in negotiations" with Kay Cannon, writer of the first two films, about penning Pitch Perfect 3, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. However, it is unknown whether Elizabeth Banks, who directed Pitch Perfect 2 and served as a producer on both films, will be return to the director's chair.
Rebel Wilson, who plays scene-stealing Fat Amy in the films, confirmed in April that she had signed up for a third film. However, Wilson said at the time that she did not know whether Kendrick was planning to return alongside her. The Pitch Perfect films' other stars include Brittany Snow, Skylar Astin, Adam DeVine and Hailee Steinfeld, who joined the cast for the sequel.

Legendary actor Sir Christopher Lee has died, aged 93
Legendary actor Christopher Lee has died at the age of 93.
The veteran British actor passed away on Sunday (June 7) at London's Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. His widow, Birgit, whom he married in 1961, decided not to make the news public until she had informed close friends and family. In recent weeks he had been undergoing treatment for respiratory difficulties and heart failure, the Daily Telegraph reports.
Christopher Lee was born in London's Belgravia on May 27, 1922. After serving in the RAF during World War II, he began his acting career in the late 1940s, winning small roles in movies starring actors including Laurence Olivier and Buster Keaton. However, his career really took off in the late 1950s when he became a mainstay of the popular British horror movies made by Hammer Film Productions, appearing, among other roles, as Count Dracula in a series of films released between 1958 and 1976.
Lee worked solidly in film and TV during the 1980s and 1990s, but would enjoy a career revival over the last decade and a half thanks to roles in Peter Jackson's Lord Of The Rings and The Hobbit films and George Lucas's Star Wars prequel trilogy. He also made notable appearances in 2007's The Golden Compass, 2011's Hugo and 2012's Dark Shadows.
Having recorded sporadically throughout his career, Lee launched a latter-day second career as a heavy metal singer, winning critical acclaim for his 2010 symphonic metal concept album Charlemagne: By The Sword And The Cross and its 2013 sequel Charlemagne: The Omens Of Death . He was made a CBE in 2001, a Knight in 2009 and received the BAFTA Academy Fellowship in 2011.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Birgit, Lady Lee, and their daughter, Christina.
'The Simpsons' show runner Al Jean dismisses reports Homer and Marge are breaking up
The Simpsons show runner Al Jean has dismissed reports that the show's core couple, Homer and Marge, will break up in the new season.
Jean caused confusion in a recent interview when he appeared to suggest that the couple's long-term relationship would come to an end in the show's Season 27 premiere. "Homer and Marge legally separate, and Homer falls in love with his pharmacist, who's voiced by Lena Dunham," Jean said when describing the episode in an interview with Variety.
However, Jean has since taken to Twitter to suggest his comments have been misinterpreted online.
.@thesimpsons #EverySimpsonsEver I DIDN'T SAY Homer and Marge are breaking up I said they are BIGGER THAN JESUS.

Meanwhile, Homer and Marge's son, Bart Simpson, has also shared his thoughts on the rumoured separation of his parents.

The Simpsons has recently been renewed for another two seasons. Fox announced in May that it has ordered Seasons 27 and 28 of the long-running animated sitcom, which will take The Simpsons to a massive 625 episodes since it began in 1989. The show is already the longest-running American sitcom, the longest-running American animated programme and the longest-running American scripted primetime series of all time.
Season 26 of The Simpsons drew to a close on Fox on May 17. Season 27 will then begin on Fox this autumn, with the already controversial episode guest starring Lena Dunham, who will be accompanied by her Girls castmates.
New trailer for Guy Ritchie's 'The Man From U.N.C.L.E.' released - watch
A new trailer for Guy Ritchie's The Man From U.N.C.L.E. has been released.
Directed by Ritchie, the forthcoming spy film stars Henry Cavill, Armie Hammer, Hugh Grant, Alicia Vikander and Mad Men's Jared Harris. Ritchie also co-wrote the script based on the 1960s TV series of the same name.
The official plot synopsis for the film teases: "Set against the backdrop of the early 1960s, at the height of the Cold War, The Man From U.N.C.L.E. centres on CIA agent Solo (Cavill) and KGB agent Kuryakin (Hammer). Forced to put aside longstanding hostilities, the two team up on a joint mission to stop a mysterious international criminal organisation, which is bent on destabilising the fragile balance of power through the proliferation of nuclear weapons and technology.
"The duo's only lead is the daughter of a vanished German scientist (Vikander), who is the key to infiltrating the criminal organisation, and they must race against time to find him and prevent a worldwide catastrophe."
The Man From U.N.C.L.E. is set for release in UK cinemas on August 14, 2015. It's Ritchie's first film since 2011's Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows.
The original The Man From U.N.C.L.E. TV series starred Robert Vaughan and David McCallum as a pair of secret agents who work for a fictitious international espionage agency called the United Network Command for Law and Enforcement (UNCLE). It ran for 105 episodes between 1964 and 1968.
